Nature of the amount
The amounts shown here are the amicable resolution terms reviewed by Atlantic Image Defense for the identified case. The correspondence records their basis, currency and continuity. A verifiable licence, authorization, invoice or material factual correction may be submitted for review and may change the assessment of the case.
Amount frozen in each correspondence
When financial correspondence is generated, the amount, currency, valuation basis and relevant reference information are fixed in that document record. Later approved changes to valuation or reference rates do not alter the historical PDF or the amount originally stated in it.
Continuity between correspondence
Once a financial amount has actually been sent, that amount and its currency become the default baseline for subsequent financial correspondence. A recalculation may produce a new recommendation for review, but it does not replace the communicated baseline without notice.
When a revision may be considered
A revision may be considered when the documented basis changes materially, for example because of additional verified observations, a longer duration established through repeated observations, a change in the verified technical availability of the identified resource, a different documented valuation reference or a recorded reference-currency conversion. The passage of time alone is not considered sufficient reason for an increase.
Currency and reference rates
When a reference amount is converted into another currency, the system records the rate and date used for that correspondence. Once a financial amount has been communicated, later routine exchange-rate movements do not change it automatically. Any monetary revision is reviewed and approved in the same way as other revisions.
Human approval and traceability
If a newly calculated recommendation differs from an amount already communicated, an authorized administrator must compare the previous amount, the new recommendation and the underlying case record, give a written reason and expressly approve the change before it can replace the current case amount. That approval is recorded in the audit trail.
What the next correspondence shows
If the amount remains unchanged, the valuation explanation records its continuity with the previous financial correspondence. If an approved revision is used, the new correspondence states the previously communicated amount, the newly reviewed amount and the reason approved by a person.
Historical integrity
Previous PDFs, dispatch records, evidence and correspondence histories remain unchanged. A later revision creates a new documented state without altering anything that was sent earlier.
