SECURE RECIPIENT ACCESS

Access your case

You received a letter or an e-mail from Atlantic about the use of an image. This page opens the secure space linked to that case. Opening it is not an admission and does not mean you accept the claim.

In three steps
  1. Enter the case reference and the access code shown in the letter or PDF.
  2. Review the use identified, its dates and the image concerned.
  3. Respond: licence, correction, objection or amicable settlement.

Use the case reference and the private access code printed in your Atlantic Image Defense PDF or included in the secure email.

Security notice

The case reference alone never opens a case: the private access code is also required. If your code no longer works, a new one may have been issued; write to us with your case reference.

What you can do

  • Provide a licence, an invoice or another proof of authorization
  • Point out that another company or person is responsible for the use
  • Correct facts
  • Raise an objection
  • Ask that your lawyer deal directly with ours
No licence? Settle the case amicably

Without a licence or proof of authorization, open the secure space, choose “Settle amicably” and pay directly, without waiting for anything from Atlantic. Settling now avoids further steps that would generally cost you far more: a notice to the host, a report to search engines or a referral to counsel.

Open the space and settle

What to have ready

  • The letter or PDF you received, with the case reference and the access code
  • Any licence, invoice, stock-platform order or written permission concerning the image
  • The date on which the image was removed, if it has been

After you respond

Each response is time-stamped, preserved and reviewed against the case record. An amicable settlement paid in the secure space closes the case once payment is verified. A licence or a proof of authorization is examined before the case is closed.

Already removed the image?

Removal stops its future display, which is useful, but it does not settle the use already made. The case stays open until a licence is shown or the amicable settlement is paid.

A call or an e-mail does not close a case

Only what is submitted in the secure space moves your case forward: a licence, a proof of authorization or the amicable resolution. Removing the image does not change this. Responses submitted there are handled first. For help with access, we remain available by telephone and e-mail.

Hosting providers apply their own policies. Depending on those policies, the measures taken following a notice range from removal of the content concerned to suspension of the account, or even deactivation of the entire website. Atlantic does not decide these measures. These measures do not settle the use already made. It remains documented in the case file, with the evidence preserved, and may still be the subject of a claim for settlement.

Recipient access and procedural fairness

Secure case access provides a documented channel for evidence, corrections and resolution

The recipient portal is a private, traceable communication channel for reviewing the identified matter, submitting supporting records, correcting material facts and recording a response or resolution proposal.

  1. 01Private reference
  2. 02Access code
  3. 03Minimum disclosure
  4. 04Structured response
  5. 05Human review
01

Security model

A public case reference alone does not open the case. A separate private code is required and can be revoked or regenerated. Repeated failed attempts may be rate-limited and logged.

Recipients should not send banking passwords, unrelated identity documents or sensitive material that is not necessary to answer the matter.

02

Response options

A recipient may provide licence evidence, identify a different responsible entity, correct facts, raise an objection, request counsel-to-counsel communication, choose the amicable resolution and pay it directly in the secure portal without waiting for any confirmation from Atlantic, or submit another relevant response. Removing the image stops its future display but does not close the case: the use already made remains to be settled.

Each submitted response is time-stamped, preserved and routed for documented review against the case record.

03

Data minimization

The recipient view shows only the information needed to identify and answer the matter. Private contributor records, unrelated images and internal notes are not disclosed without a lawful reason.

Attachments are type-checked, hashed and access-controlled.

04

Documented response and escalation standards

If a response is not received by the stated deadline, the matter remains unresolved and may be reviewed for an appropriate further step based on the preserved record, authority, jurisdiction, platform rules and applicable law.

An amicable settlement paid in the secure portal closes the case once payment is verified. A licence or proof of authorization is examined before the case is closed.
